Tahoe Tessie Museum

Free tours are available at the Tahoe Tessie Monster Museum located just up the street from Kingswood Village in Kings Beach - Lake Tahoe.

Comparable to the Loch Ness monster, Tahoe Tessie is said to be a very large sea creature that tends to keep to herself, as there are only about half a dozen sightings of her per year.

During your visit to this museum, you’ll get to hear the wonderful tale of supposed lake legend Tahoe Tessie. There’s also a gift shop, which offers one of a kind Tahoe Tessie shirts and souvenirs.

The museum is open during the summer months, through mid-September, and is located at 8608 North Lake Blvd., Kings Beach, CA. Call 530-546-8774 for more information.

Tahoe Golf Clinic

An adult golf clinic is available every Sunday morning this summer at Northstar-at-Tahoe, just a short drive up Hwy 267 from Kingswood Village.

From June through the end of August, Northstar is offering a $25 golf clinic starting at 9am every Sunday. No reservations are required, call 530-562-3290 for more information.
